Dear Friend,
It’s been less than two weeks since Hurricane Helene crashed into Florida as a Category 4 storm, and already survivors are being threatened again by Category 4 Hurricane Milton. Please join us in praying for the precious people in harm’s way.
As Helene tore apart homes and businesses across the Southeast, taking more than 200 lives in the process, Operation Blessing was there from the start thanks to friends like you. After weathering the storm on the edge of Florida, we rushed help to those in need there before moving on to Georgia and North Carolina. And we’re monitoring Hurricane Milton's impact, preparing for the worst. |
In Georgia, recovery work is under way as our teams prepare ruined homes for repair. And in Asheville, North Carolina, our staff and partners are working around the clock to find those cut off from outside aid to provide immediate relief.
With ongoing power outages and washed out roads, families are still struggling without access to clean water and food supplies. As time goes on, essential resources are running out. But you can help provide aid to those who would otherwise be overlooked. Along with distributions in the heart of Asheville, we have also provided supplies via helicopter to remote locations where the roads are impassable. You can be the hands that reach out with relief, sharing Christ’s love for the hurting. Will you join us in helping as many people as possible amid the devastation? |
And again, we're monitoring Hurricane Milton and ready to respond. As always, we value your prayers.
With gratitude, Your Operation Blessing Team
