Hi! My name is Jody, and I would like to ask you to take a 5-Step Greek Challenge with Bible Gateway Plus.
Please wait! Don’t skip this just because I just challenged you to learn some Greek…
Please don’t chuckle and say “It’s all Greek to me,” and go about your day as if I didn’t email you.
Please let us teach you how to get started learning about BIBLICAL GREEK. I want to help unlock a passion for understanding the Bible on a deeper level.
I may not be exactly like you, having known some pretty amazing Bible scholars personally.
But, I have been where you are.
The first time I ever met Verlyn Verbrugge, the late editor of the abridged editions of the Expositor’s Bible Commentary and the New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology (both available with Bible Gateway Plus), he asked me if I knew Biblical Greek.
I was like a deer in headlights!
No, I did not study Biblical Greek in college.
Nor would I say I know Biblical Greek today.
But, that moment of meeting Verlyn STAYED in my heart.
I started my Greek journey learning the alphabet. From there, I began to understand the study tools that help you dig deeper into the original meaning behind every translation, and I have been utterly fascinated ever since.
Take this 5 Step Greek Challenge and get hooked like I did.
