In general, I really like this app. I've used it for years, and it has always worked well. It is a little frustrating that the search feature is translation specific. Recently, a loud advertisement will play when you start a search. Even if you have your phone on silent. the music plays loudly. Very annoying.

I have used this app for bible reading on my phone for many years. It was a huge disappointment to see the addition of ads with one of the last updates. I realize the ad is short, but having to see a secular ad to be able to read the bible just seems wrong. I would happily pay a one time small amount just to have the ads removed. I do not need or want the subscription. As of right now, you can only get rid of the ads if you pay for the subscription. I also miss the note icon when you make a note

I loved this app before they added the pop-up advertisements. It is easy to navigate, and has excellent functionality for taking notes. This Sunday, when I was opening it, an ad popped up with a woman taking off her shirt to advertise sports bras. The ads run for several seconds before you can close them, and it has become more of an inconvenience than it is worth. So, after using the App for the last 5 or 6 years, I am uninstalling it. This was a great product at one time.
