To experience the full life transformation God has to offer, people need to engage with His Word consistently and meaningfully. So every Bible and Scripture resource we create needs to be the best it can possibly be. That’s the role of our Language Community Plans (LCPs).
Each LCP considers the Scripture needs of a whole community—from Bible translation to evangelism and discipleship resources—and is constantly evaluated for measurable impact. That means every gift from generous supporters like you is put to work as effectively as possible.
In 2022, our partners in South Asia are crying out for trauma-healing resources for women and girls. South Asia has our world’s highest rates of child marriage, with girls in their mid-teens often forced to marry much older men. In addition to pressure to have children before their bodies are ready, many are subjected to domestic violence. Of course, child marriage also means the end of education and the hopes of growing into their God-given potential.
Our LCP for South Asia includes three trauma resources that we expect to reach 240,000 people directly and 1 million indirectly—and that’s just the beginning, as our partners want to expand across the region and around the world in years to come.
